Woman charged in hit-and-run that left teen bicyclist injured in Hatboro, Pa.

HATBORO, Pa. (WPVI) -- A woman has been charged following a hit-and-run late last month in Hatboro, Montgomery County, that left a 14-year-old bicyclist injured.

Orsolya Bereznai, 52, surrendered to police on Friday.

The crash happened at the intersection of South York and School roads on Monday, March 30.

Investigators say the teen was riding his bike on the sidewalk along South York Road and entered a crosswalk when a black Toyota RAV4 struck him as it exited the parking lot of a senior living community on School Road.

Police said the driver had a green light at the time of the crash.

Surveillance video captured the collision, showing the teen and his bicycle thrown into the intersection. He was able to get up and run to the sidewalk.

According to police, Bereznai briefly stopped, looked to see if her car was okay, then got back in and continued driving.

The teen victim was not seriously injured.
